I have finally decided on my internship and will be working for the Equal Rights Center starting Tuesday. Because of MLK day, not having an internship before Wednesday, and the inauguration, I haven't had to do anything this week. It's been awesome. So, I moseyed on down to my Congressman's office and it was great. Brian Baird was really nice, we made lame Vancouver jokes, he told me to think of the office as my home away from home. He also said to call if I ever wanted ideas on where to go or if I ever got in trouble. He even pretended to remember me when I mentioned the Youth Commission.

The inauguration on the other hand was incredibly boring and cold. Everyone kept on booing when Kerry came onscreen. The highlight was when we were trapped in the enormous crowd, desperately trying to escape the parade, we met Anderson Cooper (the hott CNN correspondent). I got to stand next to him for like ever, and he is actually even hotter in person.

Sorry for the tame entry, I do plan on going to Velvet Nation this Saturday, so I'll keep y'all updated.
