Marrowstone is definitely cool. The music is great and the faculty is amazing. Every masterclass i have sat in on has taught me a lot. The festival has really put how i view music into perspective. I love music, but have realized that i have hit a wall. My technical skills lack compared to so many, if i could just master them i believe i could really achieve a level that will satisfy me. I have never felt that i have ever performed to my utmost ability, never had the feeling of knowing i achieved excellence. Recently, a conversation with Francine rally demonstrated my complete and utter lack of confidence in asking for help. This lack has always destroyed opportunities for me, and i am sick of it. Its really paralyzing.
