Lots to Catch up on...
Well I have updated in a while...I know I know, bad! But what are you gonna do?? I do have a lot to catch up on so lets just get started...
Thurs. night was the very first "Campus Life" meeting. It was a lot of fun. Wayne and Maj came to my house and then Kylie, Sara Garms, Emily, and Cara came too. It was fun! I hope this all goes well. To anyone who is reading this and goes to Coughlin...Thurs. Sept. 23 there is another Campus Life meeting at my house at 7:00. All you can eat pizza and wings for $3. Come on down it will be a great time.
Then Fri. night was the youth rally at camp. That was a lot of fun. I havent seen those people since camp and it was great! Then Scott, Suzanne and Shelly came to camp!!!!! Oh my word. When I saw them walk in I jumped up and ran over to hug them all. I miss them all soooo freakin' much. It was so great to hang out again. Well I didnt get to spend that much time with Suzanne though...that made me sad. But I still love her! Then I came home with Scott and Shelly and Shelly stayed at my house!!!! And slept in my bed! It was so fun. Then on Sat. she had some homework so while she did that I made my posters for See You at the Pole. Shelly did have to make some spelling corrections though, hahahaha. Like Coughlin and Lunch, hahaha. Oh well. Then Scott came for a little while. Then he left and me and SHelly went to the mall. I bought and skirt and a shirt and Shelly tried on a prom dress, haha. While we were standing in line I saw my old dance teacher. It was so good to see her again...I love her and miss her. Then me and Shelly came home and got ready for our big night out on the town. Really we just came home and got ready for our night with Brandon and Ryan. It was soo much fun!! We got all dressed up and went to this nice restaurant. I thought it was really funny when the waitress asked us where we were going all dressed up...we were like "Here" hahaha. Then we went to Ryans house and watched "Fight Club" it was an ok movie...I didnt really pay attention that much. BUt thats ok...it was still a lot of fun. Then we didnt leave until 12 and then got lost on the way home. So we didnt get home until 1:15...my mom wasnt too happy. But I'm still alive so it must not have been that bad. Then Sunday was church and dinner at my Grams. Then they left and I cried.
Then I got a call about 6:00 as I was getting ready to go to church and it was Shelly. She called to tell me that her and Scott were in a car accident. I couldnt beleive it. It was so scary. That is the 4th car accident since July. I dont know what God is trying to teach us all...but its something big. I'm just going to walk everywhere! I will be safe and I'll look good too because I'll be fit!
Well that about catches us up to today! Today was "See you at the Pole" We had about 13 people there which could have been better...but I think it was still successful. Then I went into all the lunch periods for Agape sign ups and we had 19 sign up. My goal was 20...so I think we were pretty darn close. Then we had the first Agape meeting today and I think it went really well. I played the song "If we are the Body" and did the devotion on how we are teh body of Christ and we need to bind together and how we have to reach out to others. That is the challenge for this whole year. I am so excited with what God has entrusted me with this year! I could still use a lot of pray with this and the Agape group could use prayer too so it keeps growing and God really touches people's lives through it!!
