my last night in kalamazoo
so this is it. i was supposed to leave this afternoon. but alas, i got nothing done this weekend and had a few loose ends to tie up before i could get out of town. it's been pretty nice overall. spent much the day by myself, as ibou had class and work. so i got the errands done, the laundry done, some reading done, some napping done.
my going away party was so nice. i was quite happy with the turn out. not too many, not too few. i had a really good time until everyone began to leave. then it hit me, i may never see some of these people ever again. but i did very well, only cried once. cried all the next day though. well, you know...
i am really pissed about the work situation. the service manager is an asshole who completely stood me up on saturday. the gm had no fucking clue who i even was. i don't even want to transfer now. but i can't possibly begin a new job with so many bills hanging over my head and the possibility of no pay for two weeks. so i am stuck trying to get a hold of him. my gm is trying to help me out, but to no avail.
well, i am going to get in a few more pages of harry potter before ibou gets home. i won't be online for a few days until i get things settled. so until then, wish me luck. au revoir...
