finally, real summer!
we had raccoons! they ate through part of the plastic cat-door on the back deck then got inside and opened food containers with their paws. amazing! i wish i could know when it's appropriate to approach plastic with my teeth versus my hands. such crafty critters.
i'm back from the great AK, and besides the fact that typing is really hard because most of my fingers are still numb (from overuse, not cold), i feel well enough. plus, i MADE BANK, so of course that makes any problem easier. i return to AZ on the 11th of august, so i only have 2 weeks of summer here in a normal climate. i'm carless, so stop by and visit me! i promise i've returned to all of my usual hygiene habits and will not smother you with fish odors.
