(no subject)
sometimes i get a little highlighter happy and cross out too many days on my calendar. seems that tommorrow is suddenly saturday.
anyway, we switched anat/phys lecturers at break, and the new one is FRENCH.
how am i supposed to listen to what he's saying when i'm chuckling at how he pronounces "mechanisms," "longitudinal," and "potato chips"?
catching up is hopeless since i sit next to a bunch of girls and we can't borrow each other's notes if we all space out simultaneously.
it's okay, i officially picked a minor (social welfare) yesterday, and that'll make a nice major if i fail this class and need a backup plan.
any other news? well, i got frustrated (like always) while trying to lock up my bike somewhere today, bent the key without noticing, and then when i tried to lock it at the theater tonight (yes, this was #2 out of 3 planned viewings of v for vendetta), it broke off into the lock. we prayed and dummy-locked it and thankfully ole' bikey was still there afterwards, despite the 95% bike theft rate or whatever the statistic is here. i'm thrilled, though, that i have to get a new lock. the old one was impossible to lock in less than 8 minutes, which of course is more than the amount of time i save by biking anywhere on/near campus.
i've made it to every class so far this week (hooray!), but since i'm skipping my 8:40 on friday to go pre-reg, i think i owe the ditching-fairy some time with the textbook.
