I'm very happy that the Reagan mini-series was cancelled by CBS. It served no other purpose than to be a hit piece on the Reagan legacy. I know this smacks of conspiracy theory, but I amn too often reminded of Orwell' "doublespeak". It seems the far left in this country continues to try and re-write history. But the truth always wins out.

There is definitely a war brewing... the secularists, and groups like the ACLU, are constantly trying to have values and morals removed from society. The only way the FAR left can win is by judicial activism and by purging society of the idea of right and wrong. Only when a society has no moral code, and no sense of right and wrong, can the principles our country was founded upon be dismantled, and destructive behavior become the norm.

I am a little disappointed with the Nemo DVD. It doesn't seem as feature packed at "Monter's Inc." But the idea of a "visual commentary" is very cool. And the idea that you can watch it independent of the commentary propre is cooler still. I AM glad they dropped some of the things that were becoming redundant, like the little score mixing extra. But Monster's Inc was aboot doing realistic fur and hair. And there were damn good features on how they accomplished that. I have yet to watch the movie or the visual commentary, but some features on how they accomplished the look of water would be nice.

A Pixar movie is not just a good story; it's also an attemptto solve a technical challenge. I'm trying to figure out what the technical challenge for "The Incredibles" will be ? Is it a realistic beer gut ? :-)

I wish I could work on computer animation. I have the tools to do it, but it is SOOOOOO time consumptive. The Rustboy project hs been years in the making, with one person working alone on it. I recently received my copy of the making of book. Wow. If I were Bill Gates rich, I'd spend a lot of time making short little features.

I'm working on a new magic effect I learned off of Jay Sankey's latest DVD. It should kill. I'm going to try it next week on my friend Lindsay, who tends bar at Monday Night Football. Lindsay and I seem to have a lot of common iterests (she is only 20... I don't like her like that) so we seem to get along well. She also has as her fav standup comedian Dane Cook. So she and I and a few other friends are heading up to Boston the last weekend in January to see Dane perform in his home town, do a day of Boston, and of course... tour the Boston Brewing Company.

I am not expecting much from the last chapter in The Matrix trilogy.
