I am feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, I just started a new job three days ago, the staff are great and they are very supportive, and I finally get to work office hours instead of shift work, but it is still new to me.
It is so unlike hosptial work where there are so many procedures and steps and laws and stuff that one has to obey and see to, but there is no limit as to the amount of medical supplies one can use to finish doing a procedure. But at the private clinic I am working in now, although there is a minimal of steps as to how one must do stuff, there is a real crimp on the medical supplies we can use. That really restricts my work as the need to do things properly is so very ingrained by now.
Guess I would have to get used to it now that I am working there.
But the other thing I am not used to is that I don't know how to work the manual filing system since I am so used to the computerised one of the hospital. It is really hard having to file the files manually and climbing around filing them, I was used to handing them to an assistent and having them file it into the hospital main frame for me while I just enter the patient's particulars into the comp and be done wih it.
So yeah, with all these adjustments to get used to, I can't seem to write or do anything else for that matter.
