I have to say that 'Oldboy', which I went to see last night, is a fantastic film. It is incredibly dark and not for the squeamish, but that just makes me love it all the more. It's hard to describe without giving the plot away, but it's something along the lines of the Count of Monte Cristo meets The Game meets Point Blank (actually there are some similarities to Payback, the Mel Gibson film nased on the same book as Point Blank, but Olbdoy is much better). I think Kat really enjoyed it as well, especially the fighting lots of men in a corridor scene, which is brilliantly done (I liked the imagining spiders bit, but it's hard to explain that if you haven't seen the film).
I failed to resist the urge to buy CDs yesterday - I bought the Killers, Interpol, and Thirteen Senses. Oh well...
