nice tip (and I'll be adding this community...)

but something that I've wanted LJ to have as a feature now would be to have separate display pages for "Communities" and "Friends" respectively- since the two aren't exactly the same- rather, they are distinct and separate entities (a lot of the time, though one's "friends" may also be active in communities as well)

a lot of the time, a Community's posting rate is different from a singular user's

Anyway, I just wanted to put this thought out as a comment on this page since it seemed relevant and since I've been wondering if there are other LJ users who would agree with me and also wish to request for this feature.

Thanks for the tip!~

Okay I felt like being helpful today --

If you go here you can divide your friends and communities into little groups. What I did was I created a new group and added all my communities to it. Then you can go here when you want to read your custom group with all your communities.

If you need to edit your groups later on you can find it under the 'Manage Account' tab.

Hope that helps some.

ah, thank you...

I had already organized my friends and communities before reading this comment- but now I can make good use of all the filters that I've setup ^-^

Yep, I've done the same thing as monnie_doggett. I've got one group for people and one group for communities. Works like a charm. :)
