I love my car
So this weekend was fun. Granted, any five-day weekend is fun, even if you get behind in classes because of it. But this one was particularly fun, as I decided to drive to Chicago and visit Adrienne at Northwestern. Quite fun; I'd not seen her in far too long. And, despite her knowing I'd show up that weekend, I still got to surprise her by leaving Thursday instead of Friday night. We hung around Evanston, going to Panera and Giordano's and a coffee house with really good Mexican hot chocolate, and went to the fabric store to get more cloth for her Halloween costume, and watched Farenheit 9/11, and went to Lincoln Park Zoo where they had newborn monkeys and apes. The whole weekend was quite fun, and very restful. Definitely need to try to do that again, though I don't know if I'll get the chance. At least I get to see her again when she comes home for Thanksgiving, though five weeks still seems like too long a time. Willie had asked if I would be interested in going with him if he went and visited, which of course I am, but I don't know if we'll really get the chance. Silly classes.
