Chunk, Scrubs, and Dances With Sheep
So rehearsals for "Joseph..." are going well. They are really trying my sanity though. We've had rehearsals every night and that plus work and applying to grad school and the holidays is really making me nuts.
So last night a group of us girls (wives) starting dishing out nicknames to some of the cast. One of the younger guys who plays a brother has become known as Dances With Sheep. You know...like Dances With Wolves only he's a brother and they raise sheep. We have an idea to get him velcro gloves so he can hold onto them. ;) Hahahahah!
Ryan, our Joseph, is Chunk due to some story I missed out on involving Chunk from "The Goonies" (awesome flick!) when he says "Hey you guuyyys!". Sorry...you had to be there...apparently, so did I. *shrugs* Ryan also had us all rolling on the stage when he did his Elvis impersonation "Mr. Pharaoh Man?" with a hip wiggle. If he weren't gay....mmm..alright, moving on.
My personal favorite was dubbed last night. Tom, another brother in the show, who is a vet student I met originally through school, showed up yesterday in light blue scrubs. Now scrubs aren't flattering on anybody really, but we all started noticing his backside...Hey! We were placed behind him! And then he had to go and bend over to lift one of the girls. SWOON!!!!!!!!! Let's just say I needed a minute to compose myself before singing again. So he has been dubbed "Scrubs" due to his oh-so-flattering attire. I couldn't help grinning at him the rest of the night and kept positioning myself to get a good look at his cute rear in those comfy pants. Oh, guess what...he's straight! YESSS!! Hawkie needs to get some hook-ups!
