Today is a good day
Today I had a meeting with the Sacramento Valley Rogue Force.
It is interesting to see how this group has changed in the past years. It went from a tiny, but dedicated group, a tiny group inches from disbanding, to the dedicated and growing group I see today.
Even little Rogue 2.5 has grown within our group. I feel like we've adopted him into our clan as one of our own. We all watch out for him at events (he's only 4) and he is really turning into an adorable boy. (Ladies look out, he's gonna be a heartbreaker).
Something has snapped in me in the past week. Sure it had it's horribly bad moments, including the death of my bird and a lonely Thanksgiving, but after all of those, I have come to appreciate what I have and am perfectly happy. I'm okay, I mean really okay with being alone because I know I am never truly alone. I am okay with where my life is right now because I can see the change in the future. I am happy with my friends and family who I would see through anything the way they have seen me through.
Life is a song and I'm not afraid to sing it.
