Eurofurence 18
Preparations for this year's Eurofurence consumed most of my spare time from january to june this year. I made 4 puppets for the Pawpet-Show (2 male red foxes and 2 female arctic foxes) - It would not have been possible without the help from Furvan, Zefiro, Mendra and Tigerseye. I'm very grateful that I did not have to build all the characters. Thanks to everyone who helped building the puppets, backdrops and props.
Besides being busy most of the time with preparations for the Pawpet-Show I managed to take a lot of photos. The big diffuser for my flash and my tele-lense worked well.
The puppets had some fun too (after the show).
I did not like keeping them secret for such a long time.
There are a lot of things that were great this year. I really liked the theme, pawpet-show, concert, fursuit gameshow, Kage and 2, ...
My panel went well - I could show several people how to build puppets. I bought some very nice prints.
The fursuit parade, photo-shooting and group photo was very nice - thanks for all the pictures and videos of my fursuits Lepi and Laru.
Most of the dances looked cold from the photographers perspective - I would have prefered more light (and also less volume - I was glad I used earplugs). Sadly I missed the artshow, art-auction, GoH-panels, movie and the charity concert. Sleeping in a smokers room sucks (yes, I still react allergic to nicotine).
Minor annoyances don't matter. All in all a very nice convention.
