Movie Meme III: (No Cut for Old Men)
These are the answers for my movie meme. I've found that the greater joy comes in guessing correctly, and having your quotes guessed correctly in turn.
1. "I believe they prefer 'visually challenged fiend'." - Muppet Treasure Island
Muppets + Pirates + Singing + Tim Curry = A delighted Phil.
2. "I'll take 'Poor Assumptions' for $800, Alex. " Finding Forrester
An under-appreciated Gus van Sant movie about the urban youth who befriends the shut-in writer.
3. "These are pets, of course. Not quite domesticated." Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn
Best representation of the original Star Trek, without the goofiness.
4. "Your suffering will be legendary, even in hell!" Hellraiser II: Hellbound (guessed by
entropy_in_drag)
Saw this just for Pinhead. This is a great line, but I can only hope the screenwriter will be the recipient.
5. "A: It's ironic that the first time in my life that I feel remotely affectionate for her, is when she's dead."

The titular main character talking with his brother concerning the mother they helped commit suicide.

I should mention that Zorro was the other object of my emulation as a child, after pirates and Star Trek characters.
7. "The secret government Eggo Project." Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie
Some of the best lines in the entire series.
8. "That's why her hair is so big, it's full of secrets." Mean Girls
David said I should do one from Mean Girls, so I picked one of the gay character's lines, of course.
9. "DO IT DOUG!" Mallrats
I'd go gay for Jason Mewes.
10. "I must warn you, young lady, I am susceptible to flattery." Kill Bill, Vol. 2 (guessed by

My favorite minor character in Kill Bill.
11. "You're familiar with the phrase 'man's reach exceeds his grasp'? It's a lie: man's grasp exceeds his nerve." The Prestige (guessed by Jason)
As I haven't seen Labyrinth or The Man Who Fell to Earth, this is the only film role I've seen performed by David Bowie. It is possibly the only film role I need to see performed by David Bowie.
12. "I will not die a monster." Spider-man 2
My personal favorite out of the three. A villain who's actually villainous, a Peter Parker who's only a little emo, and that really sweet speech by Aunt May. Aw.
13. "Douglas, does the NRA have video tapes of you playing golf with Satan?" The American President
The prototype for The West Wing.
14. "We're dead! We're dead! We survived but we're dead!" The Incredibles
I've noticed that Violet and David have similar hair-styles, especially the part over the eye. What does this mean?
