Beautiful People

S.A. compiled a list of the most desirable Hollywood chicks of the 20th century...so I figured I'd chime in with the female perspective on the other side of the gender coin.

Top Five:
Gary Cooper
Humphrey Bogart
Rudolf Valentino
William Holden
Steve McQueen

Honorable Mention:
George Raft
Robert Redford
Sean Connery

I've heard that about several actors. I'm short too, though, so I never think about it. But feel free to drop by and criticize my choices anytime. : )

Oh, and the picture!! I almost blew coffee through my nose looking at that thing!

Cary Grant! Dammit!!! This is what I hate about these lists...there's always someone I forget. He was verrrrry easy on the eyes.

due to feeding habits the list lacks 100% guyness but in case anyone was wondering, "hmm.. what's chaizilla's list i do wonder?": denis lawson, william fitchner, helen hunt, christopher walken, jeremy irons, christine baranski, david thewlis, angus macfayden, helen mirren, james woods, christian slater, robert downey jr., jane alexander, gabriel byrne, adian quinn, jodie foster, kenau reeves

and yes i listen to a lot of pop music (thanks for asking) :p

i had a dream with steve mcqueen in it (wrote about it somewhere) and until you posted this i couldn't remember the name of steve mcqueen, who was in this dream -- i kept thinking "charles ranier" which i dunno who that is other then maybe i was thinking of charles renault (not sure who that is either cept renault is a car) and/or that loomingly lovely omnipresent volcano gracing the seattle horizon..

I was stuck in the Golden Age of Hollywood frame of mind (as usual) but I would have to give your list the definite Cate Seal of Approval. I'd only quibble with Keanu Reeves, just because he seems so completely wooden and not very smart. But he is nice to look at.

hee yeah, but you see, that persistent "is he just realllly deep or is he reallllly vapid" just adds to that mysterioso thing ;)

James Dean was goodlooking to be sure, but too pretty for my personal taste. Brad Pitt's got that same kind of thing going on. Some girls swoon over it, but I like the more imperfectly and interestingly handsome types. : )
