Amazing
So Fr. Tom has been my spiritual director for the past couple months. We've done kind of a crash course spiritual direction to get through a good bit of it so I could be ready for it when I get home. This past week we talked about prayer and how to pray and things like that. Turns out he's a introvert like myself and he recommended "prayerful reflection". We went over the lectio divino which is a practice that some monks came up with a while ago. He then showed me some adaptations he had made to it to better fit him. So I took this idea of prayer with me and have been using it for the past couple of days and its amazing. I get the spiritual high like leaving a retreat after it. I just got done today and I'm PUMPED. I sound like a Jesus freak but i'm ok with that. Today I read about Stephen and his martyrdom and what he had I want. Acts says he was "filled with faith and the spirit." That's how I want to be remembered.
On another note, Campbell and Matt are gone and I have the apartment to myself. I miss them being around right now. The first day of them being gone was kinda cool to have the place to myself and be able to listen to my music loud and just hang out or have some quiet time. But now I just wanna goof around with Cam. They'll be back next Sunday. Cam and I are gonna see the Da Vinci Code then I'm headed home. Packing will be a bitch but thats ok.
