I'm gonna try this again. Maybe in small doses, the Anti-Texan radar won't be disturbed...
We had such a good time and DID NOT want to leave!!!! In fact, our last day there we were planning on going to the Animal Kingdom and meeting up with Opal again... but it was POURING!!! So the hubs decided we needed to get on the road for our 20 hour drive. BLAH!!! I cried. Isn't that silly!!! I wanted the boys to experience maximum DISNEY but I think two days at the Magic Kingdom and two days at Epcot (Every Person Comes Out Tired) was good for them. So we still have one day left on our Disney passes. Hmmm......
So here's a slideshow of a few pictures. Dudes, I had like over 400 on my camera. For reals.
Opaljade is EVERY bit as wonderful in person as she is... uh.... virtually!!! I really wanted to be able to get together more with her and her super cute family, but alas... time wasn't on our side. :(
((Hugs Opal))
Seriously. This is only a taste of the pics I have! But, you get the idea! :D The first slideshow is the Magic Kingdom. We spent Thursday and Friday there. Friday was my mom's birthday. She would have been 58. She was always so close to my little middle, Ike. AND she LOVED roller coasters. Well, two years ago I ordered a Disney vacation planner DVD. The boys have watched it over and over and knew what to expect and what rides there were, which was helpful. And I had bought a book and asked some friends and so we were prepared. Ike knew he wanted to ride the "train that goes fast in the mountain". I was skeptical. David was determined not to ride it!!! But we got up to it, and I told Ike to come on so we could ride and he went right along with it. I knew it was gonna be scary. The kid's not even been on a kiddie rollercoaster! But he knew he wanted to so he climbed right on! I had the lap bar pulled down SO tight cause he's so small, and I still had to hold onto him tight!!! The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is not known for being a smooth ride. He spent the whole ride saying, "Wheeeeeeeeeeeee-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" It was hilarious and I could not stop laughing through the whole ride! I knew Granni was loving that on her birthday!!!!! So there's a pic of him in front of the ride. So cute and brave!
