Do the Frank and bean twist!

Let's see, where do I begin. Last year marked my one year working in the produce department. I know to most of you guys that doesn't mean anything, but to me I feel like I accomplished a lot. I've gotten over my fear of knives. I've also made a game out of the stuff I prep. Like for example: How many fruit tubs can I make in an hour and a half? The answer is about seven. But I might be over doing it. But I do feel good about how far I've gotten since I've worked for The Fresh Market. Plus, I can't believe I've been there for six years already.

This Sunday is Easter. somedayseattleand I are going to his niece's house for dinner. She is going to make a ham and have a couple of sides. So, I decided to make a side as well. I'm going to make green bean casserole. Never liked it as a kid, but I like it now. Plus, his niece just adopted a cat named Winston. I can't wait to see him. When I was a kid living in New York, I remember during Easter break my mom coming home with a cardboard box and inside the box was a puppy. I was so excited to see him. Plus we had to pick out a name, so I chose the name Duke. He was a medium sized dog. A Bichon Frise. He was with us when we lived in New York and when my father (who worked for IBM) at the time got the news that we had to transfer to North Carolina. This was back in 1994. He was a great dog. But died of old age.

Otherwise, nothing else is going on. Next week I have to go to the DMV to update my ID card since I don't drive. I just wish I could keep my old picture cause I look so young. But I know that's not going to happen. Oh well, I know we all can't be young forever.
