A vent and then some positives!!
Ok... seriously!! Why do you just show up here without an appointment? Yes I understand that you paid us money to represent you in your matter, but does that give you the right to just show up unannounced? I don't come to your place of business without calling first or without an appointment. What is with people? We have more clients and people show up here because they feel like it. This is a place of business as well and I feel like it should be treated as such. It is so annoying.
Also, to the most annoying client ever (well at least for the time being), you are not the only client we have. We cannot fix the problem you have been building over the last 10 years in a couple of weeks. This guy hired us and then my boss had his baby the following week so was out of the office that week. He turned the case over to another guy we office share with to just kind of handle things for the week. There was no real emergency and nothing really got done. A motion was drafted and documents were compiled, but nothing was filed. That next week Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. the client calls to talk to my boss. I told him that he wasn't in and wouldn't be here until the afternoon. The client proceeds to tell me that is unacceptable and that his life is on the line and that he was blown off all last week. WTF?!? Seriously?!? They just had a baby and his wife was in the hospital recovering until the Friday before. Your situation is not life and death and can wait. This same client called last week and wanted an Order drafted up. I did that this week. He calls and wants to know why that wasn't done last week when he requested it. Sorry, but you are not the only client we have. We actually did have a couple of emergency situations that we had to deal with. Yours was not that important. I cannot wait until his case is done or he fires us. I will be fine with either one..
The positive... our little Ray San is not so little. In fact, he is 6 lbs!!!!! He's just like a little regular baby now. I know I'm biased but seriously... look at this cuteness!!
He had a swallowing evaluation done and it seems like he swallows a little funny so they are going to thicken my milk when he bottle feeds. Hopefully this will help him get over his feeding issue. He was all ready to take the bottle and would start. A little bit later, he would hate it and cry and push the bottle away. They think b/c of the way he was swallowing, it was going down too fast and it scared him. So far, the thickening seems to be helping. He's taking a lot more than the 10 - 15 ml he had dropped down to. I know I keep saying this, but he really is close to coming home. We should have him home next week is my guess. I really feel like he wil be home before Halloween!!
Also, I love the salted caramel hot chocolate. It is a little rich so next time I'm only going to get a tall. It is really tasty though =] .
