Greetings from Paris, where I'm enjoying my (second) bottle of amazing wine (for less than 6€) and drunkenly trying to master the insane French keyboard--so sorry if there are typos! In case you cared, Italy and the US just played each other in the world cup and ended in a draw, which is all very heady and existential for a lady like me who holds two passports. It was fun to watch with French commentary that I could not understand.
Really though, I'm here after having spent a couple very nice nights in Brussels, and now I'm in Paris for a second time and am surprised by how a city can appear so very different depending on two very different travelling experiences.
