Pom Pom Madness
Update from earlier: It may not, in fact, be Maya who is throwing up. I caught Pixel doing it and the results looked exactly the same as what I found earlier, and Maya immediately ran over to investigate. Plus I was sleepy and drugged this morning, so I could easily have mistaken Pixel's running away quickly and Maya's running OVER quickly for Maya being the culprit. I have now separated them--Pixel's locked in the spare bedroom--to see if either one vomits again. Whichever does has a one-way ticket to the ER for overnight monitoring and more x-rays, although it's already 11pm and I'm going to sleep soon...maybe that's a trip for tomorrow.
Knitting update: I finished the hat part of the hat-n-scarf combo I agreed to do for the belly dance Hafla raffle. I had originally done it on the red KK loom, but it was waaaaay too small--this yarn tightens up pretty far. So I ripped out all my stitches (close to 10" of work! arrgh) and started over on the green one. Here is the end result, with a pom-pom on top and our lovely model Maya:
And under the cut, we have lovely Miss Maya posing in front of my computer.
