What do you look like?
Mostly like this...hair is getting longer every day.
5’7", dark brownish-reddish hair with grey in front depending on how recently I've dyed it, brown eyes.
(I don't usually wear the cat ears. It was Halloween.)
Nationality: Israeli, sub-genus California Valley Girl
Religion: Jewish, though very very reformed and mostly secular.
Are you in school? If so what is your major?
As of next semester I'll be an Information Sciences and Technology major, which means I'll be playing around with computers. Up until now I was a Biology major, going for a pre-veterinary degree. I'm at Temple University in Philadelphia.
What is your career goal?
I still want to be a veterinarian...but now I think it will take a lot longer and may never actually happen. I'll settle for being a registered technician with lots of money made from computer work.
Job(s)? If so what do you do?
I'm a triage nurse, assistant technician, and overnight receptionist at a busy emergency veterinary hospital. I also do teaching assistant work for the Hebrew department at the university.
Pets? If so I want pictures and descriptions.
Back home in California:
Shpitz, a Siamese (or possibly a Tonkinese, I forget which, but he doesn't talk) who's almost 11 years old and still the sweetest little boy in the world.
Frodo, a huge tabby/Bengal mix who likes to hunt pigeons. He's almost 4.
Here in Pennsylvania:
Pixel is a little over 2 years old. I got her from a rescue right when I moved to Pennsylvania. She's got a fat body and a little head and is aloof most of the time but a big momma's girl when she wants to be loved on.
Corey is almost 3, he used to be a hospital cat at the hospital I worked at in Lansdale, but he hates using dirty litter boxes (there were 5 other hospital cats and not enough cleaning crew) so he peed on the doctor's desk and paperwork to show his unhappiness. They had him living in a cage for almost 6 months before I was able to convince them to let me take him home. He doesn't pee in or on anything except the litterbox now, and he likes to steal food off my plate.

What is your favorite thing to do during your down time?
Computery stuff, reading (books, fanfic, livejournals, the back of a cereal box, ANYTHING), drawing (mostly computer stuff again, I don't have the time or patience for traditional media), watching TV shows that were cancelled before they should have been.
