is it to sew? i keep wanting to say sow, but that's a different thing...

My aunt had her doctoral thesis defence yesterday. (Yay for aunt!!) There's tradition to go with these things, so in the evening there's a party, which requires formal dress. Because I do own a sewing machine and I kind of know what to do with it, I decided I can make my own dress. And what I mean by 'make my own' is to to buy a cheap dress from the fleamarket and add my brothers old curtain to it. :D Considering the fact that I haven't sewn anything in ages and ages, I'm fairly happy with the ressults.


It's all black on black, so it's not that easy to make out anything in pictures, but...





And... a really bad picture from the front. But it's the only one I have. :/
