[Minding his own goddamn business as he stomped his way through the halls, Kanda turned a corner until something stumbled onto him with a yelp..]

The hell-- [He makes a face. Who's the idiot that left a fucking ...pink dog in?]

[Slowly getting back up, Yachiru shakes her head trying to dispel the dizzy of tumbling backward. Looking up at Kanda, she cocks her head and makes a sound of confusion]

[Isn't his day getting better? Were the newcomers bringing pets with them, now? Well shit this wasn't a fucking zoo. Wait. Was that a STAIN on the floor?]

Oi. [He grabs the pup by the scruff of the neck and brings it up to eyelevel. Fucking dog must've pissed on the floor.]

[For you information Kanda, she isn't anyone's pet. Yachiru is a shinigami and damned proud of that fact]

Yip! [The pup was surprised when the man picked her up by the scruff of her neck. For a moment, she vainly tried to twist escape from his grip. When she was eye level with him, she blinked in confusion. Hey, the stain was not her fault!]

[Completely inept when it comes to animals. Kanda gives the pup a shake to quiet it down. Damn he really hates dogs.]

You're too damn vocal, beast. [He looks down at the stain and scowls. He's not cleaning that shit up.]

You're weird looking. [Upon further inspection, it could be another thing that came through the portal. Where's his golem? He needs to report this dog to Reever- at least dump it on him. This wasn't his problem.]

[If anything, the shaking makes Yachiru yelp out. Not to mention, all this shaking makes her head spin]

Aruuu. [She wiggles in his Kanda's grip]

Awoooooo! I'm not weird looking, Grumpy! [Yachiru let out a puppy yawn and looked around. It felt odd being held like this and it was a bit boring. Seeing the other man wasn't paying attention, Yachiru attempted to give his hand a lick.]

[Kanda turned to his golem as he waited to be connected, however he was distracted by something wet and warm against his hand. His first reaction was to let go. Dogs are supposed to land on their feet, right? Or was that mice? In any case, he was having a hard time wiping his hand on his pants.]

[She got the man atten-Whoa! Yachiru let's out a panicked yelp before landing harshly on the ground. Blinking for a few moments, Yachiru tries to stand before letting out whimper. She tries to stand up a few more times, but ends collasping to the ground. She lets out a pained whine]

[Alright. So dogs are not good at landing. Duly noted. Now the problem was that said beast needed medical attention. Fucking great.

He knelt and reached a hand to the pup. It flinched at his advance; nevertheless, Kanda picked it up and placed it on his lap.]

God damn it, quit moving, you little bugger. Let me have a look. [Perhaps he felt a bit guilty. Not that it was his fault. The bloody animal should've known how to land.]

[Yachiru let out a whimper. At the moment, her hand/paw(?) hurt terribly. All this was happening to fast and too quickly. It had be ears since she feared anything. Yachiru let out a menacing growl, well menacing for a pup, when Kanda attempted to pick her up again.

Yachiru tried to wiggle out of his lap to no avail. Sadly, her broken(?) paw made her collapse into his lap. Still, she struggled to squirm away. When the hand came closer again, she attempted to bite it in retaliation]

[He didn't lash out at her when she caught his hand between her teeth. At least he got her distracted enough to look over at her paw.]

You're a pain in my ass, beast. Now, hold still.

[He was absolutely no connoisseur when it came to medical diagnosis- albeit being very familiar with pain- he never had to deal with doctors for too long.

He experimentally rotated the joint to see the range of movement before pain. By the way Kanda gently felt and prodded at the paw, he could tell there was mild swelling. There was no protruding bones or bruising. That told him enough.]

[Yachiru would have fought back, but he had her paw in his grip. She decided to growl at hum, but it quickly turned into a whimper of pain. It hurt! Laying down on his lap, her ears lay flat on her head and her tail drooped.]

[A sigh of mild irritation. What to do with the animal? Kanda didn't have time for this and he had to leave on a mission this Thursday. The least of his worries was this pink hairball.]

You have terrible timing, beast. [He collects her in his arms as he stands- mindful to not cause any more pain- and looks over at his golem. He had to find the owner.

After bandaging the paw, of course. He takes her back to his room.]

[If animals could pout, Yachiru would have taken advantage of it and sent one his way.

She eyes him warily when he carries her. After all, he did drop her before in the hallway. None the less, she'll enjoy the ride and take in the sights.

She stares at her neatly bandage paw with awe. It stopped hurting! S+Looking up, she barks happily as her tail wags frantically.

She let's out a whine at the remark

I'm not a baby! I haven't done things like since I was really little!

[She going to happily make herself comfortable one inside the room.
