Damn You itunes!!!
I curse you and love you all at the same time!!! There is soooo much stuff out there to discover and itunes seems to have most of it! I have spent a small fortune downloading stuff lately.
Granted I did download 14 episodes of Hawaii 5-O, but in my defense, I didn't realize I was going to enjoy it as much as I did while I was watching it during the season and didn't keep the episodes on my DVR and it is a long time until the DVDs finally come out! I can't live without my "carguments"! They are just too wonderful! I know they are being re-aired during the week, but they are not in order and there are certain episodes I wanted to watch again. Yeah for itunes!!!
I also discovered a band that I didn't realize I liked, but now own 2 of their CDs!:) Loving the music of Skillet! Heard them on the Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon soundtrack and decided that I needed more of their music!
I also came across Sara Groves while searching for a version of When the Saints Go Marchin' In that I heard on Memphis Beat last week. I discovered that Mark Arnell actually does the singing for Jason Lee. There isn't a version out to buy yet, but I came across one by Sara Groves and can't stop listening to it!!! I also found a single for Mark Arnell who doesn't have a full CD out yet.
I was also thrilled to see that Skylar Grey finally has a single out! She has made songs with P. Diddy and Eminem, but this is just her. Her voice is amazing!!! You might recognize her as the person who was singing in the beginning of episode 21 of Hawaii 5-O, the episode with P. Diddy. She was sing the song Coming Home.
I just saw tonight that Evanescence is finally coming out with a new CD in October! Yeah!!!
While I didn't buy this on itunes, I did also get the Book of Mormon Soundtrack on Amazon for $1.99. It is hysterical!!! I soooo want to see the play now!
Off to see what other jems I can discover!
