Singing and Dancing!
No, I haven't been singing and dancing..well, I have but not at the same time...well, ok, I have, but that is not the point of this entry:P
Anywho...I was watching Dancing With the Stars Results Show last night (or this morning, depending on how you look at it), and was thrilled! Not because of who got voted off, but because of the guests and performances on the show. They had the cast of the play The Lion King on performing the song, Circle of Life. I saw the show in Toronto a few years ago and fell in love with it. It was the first major production I had ever seen. I loved the enormous elephant and giraffes. Brilliant. Then later in the show, there was a tribute to Patrick Swayze. The professional dancers were dancing and there was a part where they did the big dance from the end of Dirty Dancing! So good! I couldn't stop smiling.
Then I watched Glee! I can't say enough about this show. It is getting a little darker than I thought it would, but I am still enjoying it. There are always several songs in an episode but last night's big production was Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)! Hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing. If my dogs could talk, I am sure they would have placed a call to the loony bin on my behalf!
Needless to say, I didn't get to bed until 4:30 this morning, but it was so worth it!
