Sunrises Are Not A Thing Of Beauty!
As just about anyone who knows me will attest, I HATE mornings! This morning was really no exception...except that I actually got to see the sunrise. To most people, that is considered a wondrous thing...not so much here. It isn't so much that I dread a new day, it is more that I just hate mornings.
After work last night, I ran to the movie theater to get tickets to the midnight showing of the new Transformers movie...VARY, VARY GOOD by the way! Then I ran home to pick up my husband and cousin. We went back to the theater to see the movie. By the time it was finished, it was almost 3am. We had to leave the house at 4:30am to make it to the airport. My husband's flight left at 6:30am and he had to be there early. I decided that it would be better if I didn't go to sleep for a quick nap (because I wouldn't have gotten up), so I stayed up watching television until it was time to leave.
It was still dark when we left, but it was starting to get lighter. After I dropped him off and was heading home, the sky was awash with color...too bad I wasn't in bed. I made it home about 6am and jumped into bed and was able to sleep until some lovely construction people decided to make a ton of noise about 11am. After that, I decided I couldn't go back to sleep because I had things that I had to do before I went to work.
Currently, I am at work wishing I was in my comfy bed! Only 3 more hours before I can make my wish a reality! Hopefully I can find something to do that will keep me awake. Wish me luck!
