UGH! Is It The Weekend Yet?!
I am back at work:( I had such a lovely weekend, that it was very sad to see it go away! I finally finished painting my kitchen. What was once pink striped wallpaper with pinkish roses, is now...red! It only took 2 coats of gray primer and 3 coats of red paint! Yes, 5 total coats of paint. The next step is the new sticky tiles over the green and gold linoleum. I can't wait.
Saturday, I got to see the new Star Trek movie with me husband! It was wonderful! Bones and Scotty are so my favorites. I can't wait to see it again! The cast was just amazing. It was also nice to see Paul McGillion (Carson from Stargate Atlantis). I was excited to see the Transformers 2 preview and the GI Joe preview. I can't wait. Then a dear friend came over and we imbibed in alcohol and snacks and a movie.
Sunday, my aunt came over and we took her 2 dogs and my 2 dogs for a walk. Wet dogs all around. More alcohol and then I went to a friends to watch Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. It was cute. After awhile though, you kind of got men mixed up. It wasn't bad though.
Now, I am back at work...at least I didn't have to come in at 8am. That would have made me very sad! Well, I am off to read my book.
