Such Excitement!

What a crazy few days it has been!  Crazy but fun!
Wednesday, I had to work at 8am.  I know that doesn't sound early, but when you had to work until midnight the night before and are not used to getting up early, 8am is no fun.  After drinking a 1 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper and eating a candy bar, I began to resemble a human.  I got home that afternoon and began to make a cheesecake and deviled eggs.  The cake turned out to be very tasty and easy to make.  The eggs were adorable.  I found a recipe in a magazine to decorate they with eyes so they looked like chicks coming out of eggs.  I tried it but they ended up looking demonic.  Oh well, they were still tasty.
Thursday was the usual running around to different family members' homes.  When we finally got home, I was able to watch the James Bond marathon on SciFi Channel.  I really didn't care if I saw the movies because I had already seen them, but during the commercials, there was going to be previews for the upcoming episodes of Battlestar Galactica.  (More on the previews in a later blog.)
Friday was for decorating the house with Christmas decorations.  It took forever and I didn't even put up a big tree.  Oh well, at least they are up.  Now all I have to do is the shopping.
Saturday was lots of fun.  My friends and I went to Pittsburgh to see the play, Spamalot.  It is the musical version of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  Our seats were awesome! (thanks Shannon!)  We could not stop laughing!  It was hilarious.  It had all the great bits from the movie, ie, Trojan Rabbit, Killer Rabbit, Knights of Ni.  I loved it and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a laugh.
Today is back to work.  There are only 2 more weeks of the semester and the students are grumpy.  I can sympathize, but could they not take it out on me.  It is not my fault.  Most are nice, but most are in a foul mood today...joy, joy.
