I know it has been a few days since I last bored you with the inaneness that is my life, but I have stocked up on topics and am ready to go at it.
Doctor Who...Talk about emotional. I laughed and ohhed and ahhed and then got teary. It was the season finale and it was a doozy. Although at the end one got slightly concerned when there was nothing leading up to a new season. Please let there be another season. I am hoping his next companion is someone we have already met.
Stargate Atlantis...Very full of action. On Friday a picture for an upcoming episode was released online and I just about drooled. Seriously, is there anything better than a sexy man in a turtleneck? Joe Flanigan aka Sheppard in a black turtleneck. I can't wait for that particular episode. Unfortunately there is no new episode this week...probably because of the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
Annie Get Your Gun...my friend and I went to Pittsburgh to see this play. Wonderful! Jack from Days of Our Lives was in the play and was actually pretty good. The girl playing Annie was amazing. She sounded just like a young Dolly Parton.
Robin Hood...Sad as all hell. How do you kill a major character like that?! How are they going to have another season after that finale?!
Mummy Curse of the Dragon Emperor...Not so good. One should let sleeping Mummies lie. The best part of the movie was the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer before the movie started. OK, maybe Brendan Frasier without a shirt wasn't totally painful...actually it was quite impressive.
Mole...Down to the final 3 players. I am pretty sure that Craig is the mole. Of course I will have to wait until next week to find out. Stupid ABC. They just had to drag the finale out. Instead of doing a 2 hour finale, they have to do a 2 week finale. All of the tasks and quiz was this week, results next week.
Middleman...I wasn't too sure about this show when it first started but I kept watching because it was just silly enough. I think I do like the show. It doesn't make you think and things are just so over the top you have to laugh.
Plague Ship...book by Clive Cussler...it managed to keep my attention if only to figure out what a cult, a cruise ship and Noah's Ark had to do with each other. Surprise ending and lots of action.
Today is new release day and I had to purchase the new Sherrilyn Kenyon book Acheron. Boy was I shocked when I picked up the book and saw it was 700+ pages. Her books usually aren't that long. Apparently she has a bit of a story to tell. I am excited though. I don't think I will be reading it in one night like I did with Harry Potter. Wish me luck.
Today's blog is dedicated to my DVR...How ever did I live without you?
