Not the Best Year So Far
2013 has definitely not been my favorite year. I have had 3 funerals to attend, all of which were members of my very small family. My husband hit a deer and destroyed the front of his truck. My husband also found out that he needed a ton of dental work and we had to cancel our summer plans to pay for it.
On the positive side, season 8 of Supernatural started out not so great but ended AMAZINGLY! I adored the first season of Arrow. NCIS still is wonderful! I did not love how Castle and Bones ended.
I have been watching some new shows on Netflix. House of Cards was fabulous! I am almost done watching Orange is the New Black and am enjoying it.
I have managed to go to some movies. My favorite was Star Trek: Into Darkness! I saw it 5 times! SOOOOO GOOD!!! I will admit that while it was absolutely ridiculous, I enjoyed Fast and the Furious 6 and am looking forward to number 7. I didn’t love The Lone Ranger. Despicable Me 2 was quite good. I laughed soooo hard at The Heat! I also laughed pretty hard at Movie 43.
My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years and we don’t have a ton in common. I decided to find something that we could do together. He loves to hunt and while I have no intention to kill things, I figured that I could learn archery. It is tons of fun. I am trying to learn how not to snap my arm with the string. I have some nasty bruises but I will get better!
I am hoping that since life has quieted down a little, I will be able to update more frequently!:)
