Cats or dogs-- which do you prefer, and why?
Not really a hard one to answer...dogs! I have 3 of the little beasts!
While I have nothing against cats...I like to have something that is happy that I am home at the end of the day. It doesn't seem to matter how long I am gone, they seem sooo happy that I am home. It is just a nice feeling that something has missed you and is truly happy to see you.
I do adore my friends' cats...one actually comes and greets me at the door when I visit, but for the most part, cats seem indifferent to me. They are very self sufficient and don't seem to care all that much for humans unless they need food or water.
I have no desire to have children, but I consider my dogs like my children. They are quite a bit of work. It is enjoyable to see their different personalities. I just adore my dogs!!!
