Fall is just around the corner. Fall is my favorite. Cooler days and chilly nights. :)
My health... MRIs have been stable for four years! November will be three years since my last dose of Temodar (chemotherapy). Hooray for beating the statistics!! I continue to take Lamotrigine to control focal seizures. I have them 3+ times/week. Doc. doesn't like that frequency. I tried a boost to meds. It didn't help. I was much more tired and moody and had increased tremors. I quickly went back to my original dosage. I deal with the fatigue and lack of energy as best I can.
This summer was consumed by working on our house. It looks like a new place. We couldn't be happier with everything and all the people we worked with.
My little old lady friend and neighbor lost her battle with leukemia this summer. I miss her. The dog and I walk by her empty house most days and I still peek in the windows looking for her lights to be on. I like our other neighbors but it isn't the same. I'm on the look out for another little old person who I can watch out for. There is an old man who rides his hover-round in our neighborhood. Small town residents can get way with driving those on the streets.
For anyone who checks in on me here - I will attempt to post more often. That shouldn't be too hard considering.
