so...i've been completely slacking on the girls' scrapbooks. it's just so expensive and takes up so much space and i never seem to make time to work on them. but i've found a solution! digital scrapbooking! all my photos are on my computer anyway...so it makes it so much simpler to just make pages using paintshop pro. and i've found SO much freebie supplies on the internet. i've found some awesome kits, papers, embellishments, etc. i have almost 3gigs just of free stuff including over 500 background papers! at this rate...i really don't have to buy anything at all. it's awesome!
i've mostly just been downloading stuff so far. but last night i did finish a practice page. i say practice page because it's only 500x500 pixel format...when my actual pages will be printed 12x12 inches. i'm so glad that decided to buy the printer i did when i bought my computer...because it prints on up to 13x13in paper. so that'll definitely save me a lot of money, too.
anyway...here's the practice page i got done at like 2am last night. ;)
i think it looks pretty good for my first page. i'm still finding a ton more stuff to download. so i'm having a lot of fun with it. i've been sick...so i haven't felt much like doing anything else. it's nice to be able to make productive use of my time anyway.
