an update and PICTURES! :)
i realize that i completely slacked on getting those pictures posted the last time. but i'm going to get it done this time. promise! :)
i had an awesome weekend. i made friends with my next door neighbor and hung out with her and her friends all night friday. by all night, i mean until 4am. we drank, talked, laughed, and then played a dice game for hours. unfortunately, she's moving in like a week. but she's just moving a few blocks away so we'll still get to hang out. then saturday i got a lot of stuff done around my apartment. so that felt good. that evening i had dinner with stretch, pete, and crystal (they grilled out) at their apartment downtown. then we watched the river festival fireworks from the 6th floor (the recreation deck) of their building. it was awesome being that close to the fireworks. it was really windy though...and it definitely made it really chilly.
next weekend the girls and i are going to the lake with everyone (stretch, pete, crystal...a bunch of our friends). pete and crystal just bought a boat so we're going to camp out and have fun. i have to go to walmart and get a bunch of stuff before then. we'll probably go tonight after the girls get home so they can pick out their own swimsuits and everything. i think they'll have a great time sleeping in the tent and being out on the water (which i already know they love). we're going to head out there saturday. i'm playing to stay until sunday unless the girls just really end up doing well and we might go ahead and stay until monday. i'm just not sure, yet, how they will like sleeping in the tent all night.
okay...now i have a lot of pictures to post of the girls...and i might go ahead and post a couple videos too. i need to take some more recent videos...especially of aubry. maybe i'll do that tonight if i think about it. :)

April 23rd...the girls at 6am before I took them to my Aunt's house the day I started working first shift:
I love this picture of Aubry...because it's just so HER. She just loves life and her laugh is amazing. This was at the park on March 16th.
And this is one of my favorites of Ashlyn...my sweet, smiley kid. This was just outside of Exploration Place on March 8th:
The girls went to my mom's friend's house to feed her chickens and they had a great time. Here are two of my favorite pictures from that day (March 5th):
