orange crush and cherry limeade

last night i got a familiar feeling. it was the kind that tugs on you to change. just change. yeah, that's right, i got sick of my room once again. i've only lived here for not even a year and i've changed my setup 4 times. i don't know why, but a lot of my things are large. just cuz i got them all really cheap. i mean, come on, my desk and chair together were $40. and i love them. but they just take up SOOO much space. i think i like this new setup though. it makes my half of the room more like my own little room, sorta like a cubicle. *shrug* kristine has her own little cave. i have my own cubicle...i have actual walls haha at least in a way.
anyway, what stemmed this change was the fact that my computer got infected. i HATE viruses!
so steven and i just decided to reformat my computer. i must say, it was a bit weird for me to do it. i have never had to reformat a computer though i've watched my dad reformat his. and this is MY computer. my very own. i'm very attached to it--all the things on it such as pictures, music, and important papers like essays. i've already noticed that somehow i've lost a few things. but more or less everything important is still there.

but yes. my thought: reformat computer, reformat room. it all made sense. if making one change, it's easier to make another. but now this means a WHOOOOLE lot of cleaning and such.

thus is the closing of my spring break. i still have 2 more days, and i'll be glad when they're over, cuz i miss my roommates. that and i want to hang out with lindsey and i believe she left for bako.
so i guess you could call it "spring cleaning"

oh and on a really good note, i got my grades for winter quarter. and i did a LOT better than i thought. especially in physics, which i believed i was not passing before the final. so yay! physics is my weak spot, so i'm very proud of myself right now. =)

it's lent. this means that i am not supposed to eat meat on fridays. what does not count as meat? fish [oddly], eggs, veggies, fruit, and apparently anything cold-blooded. i think that's funny, cuz when my sister told me that last part i noted that if dinosaurs were still alive today, that meant we could eat them on fridays. yeah, maybe i'm just odd.
ok, so every once in a while, i fail at this and somehow eat meat. [memories of working in the pizza place that used to be in the student center...coworker: isn't it friday?? me (with a forkful of lasagna in my mouth) : ohhh nooo!]
this morning kristine reminded me that it was friday and that meat should not be consumed.
then she left. and i got ready for the day, meaning brunch. cuz steven wanted to take me out to eat. i don't know why, but i craved ihop. something about breakfast food...it's just special. anyway, steven didn't want ihop, but wanted red robin. and since i love red robin anyway, that's where we went.
now typically i get the mushroom burger. but this time i was craving chicken, but steven was getting the clucks and fries. and for some reason the fish and chips seemed VERY appetizing. so i order it, even though i feel that something unusual is going on. but i push that aside, cuz my meal is DELICIOUS.
and after brunch we come back. this is when i tried to piece my computer and room back together.
finally kristine comes back and i ask her what she's doing for dinner. she says she's making dinner with her friend. and once again she reminds me of no meat. my eyes get wide, until i realize that...FISH DOESN'T COUNT!! haha
yay for my subconscious. it's a better catholic than i am.

basically this post was pointless, but *shrug*
