A Few Random Thoughts
I'm going to the Packer game tonight . . . I think I'm just a little bit crazy. Monday Night Football should be fun and exciting, and it should be a good game. However, the high temperature for today is going to be 29, and you know it's going to be a lot colder once the sun goes down . . . brr. Plus, I can't leave work until 5 or slightly later, so that means Jenny (my coworker) and are going to have to hoof it to my house right after work so I can get my layers on and we can get to Green Bay, probably just in time for the game. It had better be a good game, if I'm going to freeze my ass off.
It's so weird to think that when I went to the game 2 weeks ago it was sunny and warm and 65 degrees and I was hot in my sweatshirt and coolmax. And then I spend most of the game in the box with the Marines, 'wasting' the nice weather. Why can't the Marines have a box this time that I can hang out in, when it's super cold? That would be nice . . .
Though considering the last time I went to a Packer game was at least 5 years ago, I'm pretty luck to get to go to 2 games in one year!
I'm so glad to be back from Milwaukee and to not be traveling for a while. Since the end of September, I've been to the Twin Cities, Iowa, Madison, Chicago and Milwaukee (twice). I like traveling for my job, but it's been getting a little bit exhausting-I'll be glad to stay put for a while.
I got a real Christmas tree this year, and it's all put up and decorated! Well, not a real tree, but a real-size tree, as opposed to the little one I've had in the past. I actually have room for a full-size tree this year-how exciting! It's fun getting to decorate my own place!
