being greedy and demanding by nature, I also snatched two memes from noisyparker

what gender is your brain?

Your Brain is 60.00% Female, 40.00% Male

Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female

You are both sensitive and savvy

Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed

But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve

What Gender Is Your Brain?

wearing my heart on my sleeve... for good and bad, that is

what obsolete skill are you?

You are 'Latin'. Even among obsolete skills, the
tongue of the ancient Romans is a real
anachronism. With its profusion of different
cases and conjugations, Latin is more than a
language; it is a whole different way of
thinking about things.

You are very classy, meaning that you value the
classics. You value old things, good things
which have stood the test of time. You value
things which have been proven worthy and
valuable, even if no one else these days sees
them that way. Your life is touched by a
certain 'pietas', or piety; perhaps you are
even a Stoic. Nonetheless, you have a certain
fascination with the grotesque and the profane.
Also, the modern world rejects you like a bad
transplant. Your problem is that Latin has
been obsolete for a long time.

here´s the fun part - I studied Latin at school for four and a half years, finishing with a Latinum. and those classes were among the most enjoyable I remember, the teacher was great (we´re still in loose contact), learned a lot about grammar, I could combine my love for history with my interest in languages. and it´s a great show-off skill. it also comes in handy when learning Italian. so much about obsolete skill *snort*

maybe I should have called this entry "shameless brainiac plugging" ;)
