"...which I'm ultimately attracted to because of the name..."

I know. I know about loans and qualifications and all the stereotypes that are attached to the Ivy League. I wouldn't get in, first of all, and my parents would never be able to afford it even if I did get some sort of scholarship.

...I also think I have a very different work ethic than you...I don't mind doing work if there is a point behind it and you're actually learning something. I enjoy learning very much. However, in some classes (i.e. ADI) all you basically get is busy work. No one is going to retain any information at the rate we're going.

"You use to be a big fish is a small pound, but this here's the ocean, and you're drowning...”
I know, I'm just laying out my options.

I would NEVER go into a field just for the money. If I wanted to do that I would become a doctor. My passion for justice has been growing for sometime now. I wouldn’t be a "scummy lawyer" but rather contribute to the number of the few out there who aren't. As for psychology and anthropology, they are personal interests of mine. NOT something I would get into just for the salary. One of my biggest fears is to become on of those 9-5 workers who comes home every night and take anti-depressants because they can't stand their job...I DO have a passion for the arts, but not the talent, I could never make it in that world. But I can appreciate it just the same with a steady job.

I really appreciate the extremely long response but you're kind of preaching to the choir.

I suggest that you take advice with more ease without becoming so aghast and protecting yourself like I was trying to assassinate your beliefs. Sometimes SnS does care. (Small and sassy)

Go go captain Anna. The scummiest lawyer of them all.
