the update you were promised.
So the last couple of weeks have consisted of being at Huckins. Aside from the amazing 24 hours I spent at Siobhan's with her family, the twins, Janna, and Barlow, and the occasional visit home to see My mom, Bert, Mell and Sarah things have been kind of repetitive. But you know, I think that is kind of good. I mean I am no longer African American... Since I am doing the Dance and Drama program instead of teaching swim classes and lifeguarding... but i still have my color. SO all is well in Nellie land. I am enjoying myself much more that i have a constant co... and the different age group is also lifting my spirits, which is always good.
Last night I had Dinner with My Dad, Jen, Roy and Matt. It was actually a lot of fun. I only briefly talked to my Dad about this fall and where I am going to live. I think that I have decided to go there not as much as i was before, probably every other weekend and one night a week sort of deal. I dont think that i can jump back into anything more than that. After dinner i went to find Mell... which i did YAY!!! We then met Bert, then Nick Mike and Pierce. We went to play pool. Where I discovered that I am actually not half bad. Things were kinda awkward, but i was expecting it considering I havent seen Mike since we broke up. I dont think that he realized things were awkward,or if he did then I didnt notice that he did. Mell and I left sort of abruptly around 12:15, but I was tired (in more than one sense of the word). But it was great to see everyone... including Patt (whom I love more than anything!)
But Bert is almost here and I should get ready to go eat breakfast. Yummy!!!
I'll try to update sometime soon. I only have three more weeks at huckins... then 2 more weeks until school starts up again. SENIORITIS!!!!
