(no subject)
Well it has been a while again. More life continues to happen. Things continue to be up and down but, that is life, right?
So this past weekend I went to PA with Shawn and Christine. Despite having to go through the chaos that was Buffalo and taking backroads highways through the aftermath of the snowstorm we came out the other side and once we got a bit south things were beautiful.
I managed to sprain my ankle on Saturday however. I am used to going over on my ankles, I do it a lot. This one was special though, I spent a good solid few mintues just sitting where I fell wondering if I'd broken something. I am reasonably sure it was nothing but a bad sprain but I inadvertantly ended up wandering all over TO last night and not it is completely and ungodly shade of purple. Eww.
So in the early spring I went for a job interview in Hamilton. I thought I'd done well but I didn't get the job. It was an administrative job still working for the Ministry of Community and Social Services. So today I got a call from one of the managers here asking when I'd gone for another interview, which I never had. Apparently they called for a reference check. A job in Hamilton would not only mean getting up a good solid hour later in the morning but having more than 10 minutes to get ready and saving hundreds of dollars a month on commuting. :D Sooo awsome.

In other good news, a month and a half or so and Jeff should be coming home if everything goes well. I can't think of anything I've ever looked forward to so much. And now, back to work... sort of.
