He hated that he had to open the tap and wait for long minutes until the water would get hot enough so that he could step under the spray but he couldn't stand the luckwarm water and the way it made his already tense muscles clench painfully.
He hated that he couldn't open the tap all the way because then the water would make too much noise and probably wake Jin up.
He specially hated the fact that Jin was already asleep but he really, really didn't want to wake him up. His partner was probably tired and worn out and he deserved the rest.
Nevermind that Kame felt like he could sleep for an entire week without waking up, not even for food.
It certainly wasn't fair that they hadn't had the chance to christen the new king bed together, but at least he was getting a couple of hours of sleep by Jin's side every night and that, even though it wasn't enough - not nearly enough - was better than nothing.
He sighed and stepped under the now hot spray, letting the water wash away the pains on his body. He closed his eyes and dropped his head foward, letting his hair soak. It would look shitty the next morning, but he didn't care.
A sudden noise startled him and he looked at the bathroom door just in time to see Jin stumble clumsily inside the room. "Hey", he said simply, his voice slightly rough and his hair mused from sleep.
"Hey", Kame replied, blinking a few drops of water away from his eyes,"did I wake you up?"
"Yes", Jin said, removing his socks.
"I'm sorry", Kame said sincerely, "I didn't mean to..."
"Don't be sorry, I'm glad you did", Jin replied honestly, pulling his plain white shirt over his head and throwing it carelessly on the sink. "I haven't seen you properly in four days"
"I know" the other said in a small voice, eyes going downcast. "You know I'm really sorry that I can't...", he started to apologize, only to be stopped once the shower stall opened and a very naked Jin wordlessly stepped inside.
"Ahhhh", he said, pushing his lover to the side just a bit and letting the water hit his face. He dropped his head and let the spray soak his hair, shaking it a bit once he was done. Kame watched him silently, too stunned by the sudden invasion of his shower to say anything.
"Now", Jin said, sounding much more awake even though his eyes still looked tired, "where were we?"
"I", Kame finally found his voice, "was going to take a shower and..."
"And I", Jin interrupted before the other could finish his sentence, "was going to help you."

Ok, I might or might not come back to finish this later because:
- didn't I already write too much in this meme and people are sick of me and my sillyness?
- gotta go home because dhapsjdpaosd work time is over omgyay *runs home*
