Jin and Kame have creative differences, but that's what makes them one of the most sought after acts in the country. They had style, and grace - all Kame’s - and flair -all Jin’s - and stage presence. Jin develops a drug addiction somewhere between England and Germany and spends the better part of their six month tour trying to get Kame to try every bit of flavoured cannabis he can get his hands on.

The critics all agree that the introspective lyrics and often nonsensical, mumbled tunes about religion and pie, was one of their best albums to date. Kame grudgingly agrees with this sentiment and despite whatever he claims, would spend hours high with Jin trying to find the hidden picture on the album’s coverart.

It was a sparkly unicorn.

-

America was an adventure. Halfway through the Los Angeles set, Jin decided that he wanted to be a rapper. Kame had stomped his feet, threw his hands up, and sat on the couch pouting at their manager, Jin, and the potted plant in the corner - because he could - when they got the go ahead.

Television stations all across the good ole United States of A were graced with Jin in a black doorag and a massive mink coat saying his name repeatedly in front of a group of girls shaking their asses to the beat.

Kame was stuck playing the quintessential video ho.

“Love interest, Kame. They call them the Love Interests.”

-

Still, when they go back home, Jin is graceful enough to accept Kame’s reasoning for a break. He had wanted to return to the musical style that had helped them gain fame in the earlier years, writing catchy little pop ballads and producing mellow instrumentals. It was one of his highest accomplishments, garnering him many awards for Producer of the Year and Best Song.

But Kame had missed Jin. He hated how quiet the studio was now without him to distract Kame at the plugs. Or how Jin would wait until Kame had his earphones on in the booth before dubbing the wrong beat in, resulting in their unreleased track: Kizuna, Crazy Frog remix.

He knew that Jin wasn’t going to call him first, instead, always opting to let Kame do the important things while he stood in the background and looked pretty. His fingers itched to dial Jin’s number, but somehow, the pattern had been broken because Jin was calling Kame first.

He sounded as if he was at a party, which he most likely was, and had to yell for a bit until he found somewhere quiet. But when he did, it was the same old Jin; prattling about nothing and smoking so much that Kame could smell the fumes through his telephone receiver.

Jin said, “You make beautiful music, Kame” and Kame closed his eyes and clutched the receiver even tighter.

“How soon can you be here,” he asked Jin, and pretty soon what was left of the loud music was fading.

“I’m on my way.”

w-what is angst and fluff? D:
