Kame has a weakness for Chinese. He isn't actually a big fan of food, but he would kill for chicken chow mein, and he enjoys it more when it's take out and he can eat it straight from the carton. It's almost like a guilty pleasure, allowing himself to be slightly messy in at least that regard.
Chicken chow mein is what Jin orders tonight the moment they walk into Kame's apartment, dripping all over his hardwood floor, while Kame curses himself for forgetting to take his umbrella with him as usual and makes his way to the bathroom in search of towels.
Jin takes it upon himself to towel both his and Kame's hair dry, which leads to jokes about girly movies and groping, and they're stood in the middle of the living room making out until the doorbell rings signalling the arrival of the food.
The bad mood that had been brewing since noon vanishes the instant they settle on the couch to steal food from each other and mock Yamapi's hair on Code Blue.
--
Jin has a weakness for messy bedsheets. Kame used to mock him, tell him it was only that he was too lazy to make the bed, but he found out soon enough it wasn't anything like that. Jin explained the he simply associated them with pleasant things, pleasant memories, A bit like now he'd said as he got cookie crumbs all over the bed. Later, when he dropped a chopstick and also got oil and sauce stains on the covers, Kame couldn't find it in himself to complain.
--
They have a weakness for rain. When they wake up to the sound of the raindrops hitting the windows, Jin's first reaction is to shift closer to Kame and bury his face in Kame's curls. Kame doesn't need to see him to know he's smiling. He turns anyway, pulls back slightly just to take in the sight of Jin's sleepy expression, his face soft and warm and as surreal as usual.
He kisses him, presses a hand to Jin's chest to slowly nudge him on to his back, and then slides that same hand across the skin towars his arm, down his forearm until he can lace their fingers together. "Good morning," he whispers against his neck, making his breath hitch.
Rainy mornings make them mellow. Sunday mornings with no work invariably mean slow and lazy sex. Today neither of them have the energy to do more than this. One of Jin's hand resting lightly on the small of Kame's back, occasionally moving lower to squeeze or pull him closer; Kame's free hand pulling gently on Jin's hair, and their hips grinding together in a familiar, comfortable rhythm.
After they come it takes them a while to get back into motion, and it's only Kame's almost nonchalant This is starting to feel a bit gross now that makes them break apart and seriously consider leaving the bed. Kame does it first. He walks down to the kitchen to turn the coffee maker on and check the cupboards for potential breakfast food; he finds a lonely fortune cookie left over from God knows when, and he breaks it before throwing it away. Good beginning is half done.
He drops the fortune on Jin's chest on his way to the bathroom, and he's in the shower for less than two minutes before Jin is joining him. "I believe we have to do something about that other half," he says.
After that they don't leave the bedroom until it's time for lunch.
