The morning after the group date, Kame wakes to the sound of Ryo's hysterical laughter. Huh, he thinks, strange, why is Ryo in Jin's apartment this early in the morning? When he walks out into the kitchen, he finds not only Ryo and Jin but also Uchi, Pi and Toma sitting around the table laughing uproariously.
"um," says Kame suddenly very aware of how uncombed his hair is at the moment and how it's sticking up in every direction physically possible, "good morning ..."
"You look like you had a good night," Ryo says, turning toward Kame and raising an eyebrow, "you got anything you want to tell us, Kamenashi?"
"um," Kame repeats, running through possibilities in his mind, each one more ominous than the last. Johnny wants him to learn Korean and Chinese so he can temporarily join Super Junior. Someone from Hello Project has accused Kame of being her baby's daddy. Jin is going abroad again and Johnny is going to change KAT-TUN's name to KUNTT.
"um," Kame says yet again. He needs caffeine now and lots of it. "What's ... going on?"
"Why don't you tell us?" Ryo says, still smirking, and this time Uchi too dissolves into laughter before Pi takes pity on Kame and shoves a folded newspaper and cup of coffee in Kame's direction. Kame takes both numbly, more horrifying possibilities running through his head--
THREE MEMBERS OF KAT-TUN CAUGHT ON A "DATE" WITH AN ADULT FILM STAR, screams the headline, ARE THEY ALL ENJOYING HER COMPANY ... OR ARE THEY ENJOYING HER COMPANY TOGETHER?
ffjklfjlkf and then, you know, Kame is completely mortified while everyone else just thinks it's hilarious because the tabloid it was posted in is the most ridiculous one out there and regularly posts about, like, aliens having inhabited Matsujun's hair. That night Kame is supposed to eat dinner with his family and he agonizes over what they will think, because according to the article he and Koki and Jin are all gangbanging Koki's girlfriend or something and what if his mother reads it and thinks it's real, or something ...
"Kazuya!" his mother says that night, beaming, and embraces him, "I'm so proud of you! You're finally meeting girls your age!"
