(no subject)
This is how my weekend shook down:
Saturday:
I got to eat lunch with Katie R. and Kristin W. It was good to see some folks from home. We teased our waiter, whom we believed was stoned, or had done so much pot in his life, was in a constant state of stoneage. I had the best Cheeseburger ever, check out Mountain House, y'all.
That night I watched the Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx movie "Collateral" Which, come to think of it, what is the collateral in the movie? Anyway, it was alright, the best part of the movie was Jamie, of course. Then Matthew tricked me into watching an F1 race. Well, only bc everyone else was watching "The Exorcist: beginnings" I was going to watch it and be brave, but then this 8-yr-old kid got eaten alive by 6 hyeanas, while his brother watched, and I was done.
Sunday:
Before I tell you this story, I have to tell you another one:
As we all know, once again, I refuse to hang out on my dorm floor and instead hang out on someone else's. This year, it is Beefy and Diana's floor, the science and community floor. Well, they get to go to the zoo. For free. And I was invited!!!!yay!!! Anyway, the admission might be free, but the charter bus to Ashboro isn't. It is $500. Some of the money the floor had in it's funds, but not enough. So, let's do a fundraiser.....any ideas???
Back to Sunday:
Car wash. Ha, actually ended up being a good idea, because the weather was perfect. Yes, a few people did get burned. I used sun screen. (smug smug)We ended up making over $300, which was more than we were aiming for. Now, everyone wants to start their own car washing business. Yea, we can all make $300 a day :)
The race ended up being a really good one. Elliot ended up 6th. But, Mikey once again did poorly. I wish he could just get a top 10 finish. Shoot, I'd settle for a top 15, on the lead lap. Hope he does well at Charlotte.
Huh, guess I had a half-way interesting weekend. Yay me!
