Fundraiser for Harlem
Right now I am in the SECOND coffee shop in the student union, at some fundraiser for Beefy's trip to Harlem over spring break. That's right, folks, beefy. in harlem.....Anyway, the guy sounds like some coldplay rip off. S'cool, the other guy was reading poetry, and was pretty good. But he had no rhythmn. teehee.
I watched my old Gumby tapes today. There was one about Native Americans, and it was soooo not pc. It was from like, the 1960's. Twas a great look at how things have changed. Gumby makes this great swooshing sound when he moves, because he glides, seeing as it was probably too much trouble to move his clay mation legs. Oh, and stuff kept changing and jumping. Like they took a picture, and then another picture, and then moved the tumbleweed 5 feet to the left. Very amusing.
Now our coldplay boy has ditched the guitar in favor of a rapping mike. Eh, keeps me entertained.
