christmas has, personally, been a cause for depression of late. i think it has something to do with the "spirit of the season". i've seen couples ripping into their children and children frantically screaming "i want". tis the season for frustration, disappointment, and anger. people fighting for parking spots or a potentially season-saving gift. friday was the busiest shopping day of the year and i made the grave mistake of going to the mall in the early afternoon. in the span of an hour of "motivated shopping" i saw 3 or 4 fighting families no turtle doves and no partridges in pear trees. have u ever really thought about the futility of it all? have u ever calculated the amount u are willing to invest into a gift based on an approximation of what you'll be gettin in return?
somewhere in time the "reason for the season" just up and left. or was kicked out. (which seems more likely to you?)
merry xmas people. cuz it damn sure isn't christ-mas anymore.
