Ehhmm, the spoilers effectively killed the series for me because of the direction it was heading in...but if you still wanna know...eh, I'll put it in white just in case.

So apparently Narumi is actually a clone of his older brother, and I think that's what all blade children are. The reason one of their rib bones is missing is uhm, I forget exactly, I think it might've been to track them or something because they were made to kill or something. Also, the reason Narumi's brother actually married Nodoka was because he KNEW that Narumi liked her and he was trying to get Narumi to like, surpass him and stuff. But when that didn't work, he actually SENT Hiyono to Narumi (because he has a soft spot for older girls) so like--she was never in any danger and that's also how she got all her information. I think the series hadn't ended when she looked up info or I forget what she said so I don't know exactly how the series ends though. ^^;
